Man, Wargle is cool. I just love its design, even if it's just supposed to represent America. To me, Wargle just is the coolest bird Pokemon since... actually, I think it IS the coolest bird Pokemon of all time. o_O Okay, maybe excluding Lugia. And of course, Altaria and Articuno are still prettier~ <3I also love how this picture came out. The pose looks cool, I got the colors down pretty well... I love drawing wings, but I coloring that wing was pretty painful. But it's okay, since it looks so good like that~ Sorry, I'll stop praising myself now. I guess the pose could have been more original or something. And I slightly messed up with the lineart in some places.

Well... I've never thought about it actually. Now that I think of it, it really is a bit more dragon- or dinosaur-like. But since it still seems to have feathery wings, I'd say it's some kind of mixture of dinosaur and bird.

People have been saying that, and given that Wargle's based on a bald eagle, has red-blue-yellow colors and the feathers on its head resemble a native American headdress, I can see what they mean.

It's true, Pidgeotto and Staraptor were more hawk-like, this is the first eagle Pokemon we have.

Thanks! Sometimes the tones are a bit restricted to the colored pencils I happen to own, but this time I had just the right colors that mixed well with each other. ^^
