yeah, I agree upon that, these types of figures do look like some of Gigher's works. Nevertheless the feeling is totally different. The space in the upper part gives a fantasitc impression

I always wanted to go a little more mystical/less horror than giger,

I think you pulled it off very well! It reminds me of Giger, but I get less of a dark feeling from it, the colours and imagery help it be a little more mystical and up lifting
