Long time no see, Deviants! I am introducing a new and ongoing project. It will be a series of landscape studies tied in with recognizable characters.

Forbidden Scrolls
Sealed under the sacred mountains of Inone was a set of Forbidden Scrolls. Each scroll was bonded to a formidable spirit with the potential to dissemble a dimension. Due to widespread fear, those spirits were held captive in diabolic scrolls, either by consent or by force. The scrolls were securely sealed under the most sacred grounds of Inone.

The scrolls rested silently, observing the world as it crumbles and rebuilds. Though the spirits were pure when they first entered the scroll, the dark nature of those powerful scrolls began to corrode their minds. As time goes on they grew restless and wary. The mountain spirit of Inone was the only spirit not contained in a scroll. In exchange for freedom it agreed to watch over Inone and the other spirits. Sensing the restlessness of its kins, it decided to release them.This was to prevent a rebellion in the future, in which Inone would definitely be torn apart by vengeful spirits.

The mountain spirits released each scroll in a separate dimension. To ensure Inone's safety, it separated the spirits from their souls, which contained their memories. The souls are guarded by the Inone spirit. The renewed spirits have minds like blank slates. They travel from one dimension to the next to find their souls.

The Forbidden Fox
The forbidden fox spirit, Tide, was one of the first spirits to be released. Though it did not remember the events before he woke up in a strange world, he was aware an important part of him was missing. Stealthy and mischievous, Tide began his travels from the Barren Lands.
