I was thinking it reminded me of Jim Henson's stuff but didn't Froud do a lot of designing for him? Makes me think Labyrinth or Dark Crystal. Loved those movies growing up. ;D

Yes Brian and Wendy Froud worked hand in hand with him on Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth. They were really good friends, I actually was inspired by a book Brian wrote that had a lot of his drawings in it. He said it was the last story/movie him and Jim were planning to do together but then Jim passed away.
I adore Hensons work, always have! Kind of what got me into faerys in the first place!
