"Creeps, Chirpers, Gangles, Bats, they have many names and accept them all without complaint, whatever it is they call themselves is unknown to the other races as their native language is an incomprehensible one made of clicks chirps, squeaks and other sounds undetectable to human or elf ears. It is rumored that all of them are capable of bearing children and that there are many, many more of them lurking in the dark places under the cities and forests than any would have ever guessed. It is also rumored that they emerge in the darkest parts of the night to steal away the unwary and that there are caverns filled with the bones of anyone who pries too deeply into their affairs. These are just rumor however and should not be believed, it is fact however that they have integrated themselves deeply into everyday society and own a growing and significant portion of the trade guilds coming in and going out of Hafendorf."
