Description
In recent years the seclusion of Alutia has become more and more unbearable for those common elves of the countryside and lower social classes where the divide of wealth is stark. Alutian youths have begun to cut their hair short, something that has long been a traditional taboo as protest, some have even refused to remove their fifth finger, a social stigma implicating them of having mixed blood. More and more often Alutian elves have crossed the wall into Hafendorf as refugees to escape the ridged cast system of their homeland where they along with their Hrondish cousins are faced with the difficult choice of poverty or military service.~Herothi Kiljaden

Most Alutian elves are born with just four fingers, but the two races have lived together for so long neither of them really has a pure genetic pedigree (besides the ruling caste, of whom are as of yet to be released) so some Alutian elves are born with a fifth finger which is promptly removed for fear of being called a halfbreed.
Because who on earth wants to display Hrondish lineage? Pfft.

I don't believe they would qualify as 'trap' material considering they would sooner bite you than let you start to wonder if they are females or not. haha I'm sure their attitude towards humans can be a bit touchy when it comes to the subject.

Amphy picked up all kinds of terrible jokes and bad habits in the Army. You'd be pretty shocked sitting in on the gal's klabitsh card games out in thed field - lots of stories about whorehouse adventuresd ("And so then I tells him (redacted)get your ass moving faster, boy" - the late Sargeant Janessa, prim little Lieutenant Saraan ("Gods below curse Dagon's blue balls" she says after Lieutenant Inarra/Amphy wins another hand) and the rest.
