Micaiah's new look got a ton of hate when it was first revealed. Me? I don't think it's so bad.Here it is again, in a different style.

My solution to the Micaiah Dark Mage problem: I just reclass her to Grandmaster, because Shadowgift + every class available to females = REK SHIT BITCHES!!!

I think the main problems with Dark Mage!Micaiah are that:
1. Makes very little sense, since she's a plain old mage in the first DLC chapter.
2. The artist they picked to draw her card is awful. Β Wada ruins everything.
3. Micaiah wasn't that well liked to begin with.

I suppose the artist for Micaiah picked up on the fact she wouldn't get a unique sprite. It's kind of a shame that Roy got such an awesome redesign and just uses a generic Mercenary sprite. Still, at least the female Dark Mage outfit holds some appeal. The outfit's style is not a good look on the various male grunts who use the Dark Mage and Sorcerer classes.

I think, maybe Roy's artist was the one who "over-did-it" in comparison to all the others. I appreciate what he did though. When I look at everyone else's, they're all pretty standard unit uniforms. Roy's is the strange one.

I didn't like the outfit much because of it's showiness ('cause Micaiah's outfits were always so pretty without being very revealing), and I also disliked how the artist didn't bother to come up with a new outfit and just gave her standard Awakening mage clothes.
But enough complaining; I love how you drew this! And I love her expression as well, so fierce! Beautiful!

Thanks. Her tome is a Rex Aura which is primarily dark according to the icon I saw. FE13 has no light mages, so she's a dark mage in this game.
