Wow! This was uploaded almost 11 years ago, this is awesome! I couldn't believe this was traditional art, I thought it was a photograph with some edits! Amazing! I get hints of religious undertones from this picture, but I don't know if that's what you were going for

I have just started a drawing an architecture-ish (bridge and buildings) drawing, I can really understand how difficult it can be and appreciate the effort you put into it.
I can't give any helpful suggestions on some of the details because I can't really see it (is it the scan?). Overall, very nice composition.Β I like that you have chosen a low horizon.Β The pose is great and you have used lights and darks really well here. I love it!Β Β

The buildings toward the background also look realistic, but still the horizon line appears a little wonky. This sort of thing is easy to improve upon
I think perhaps more contrast would make this a stronger piece... darker shadows. What's the concept behind this? It looks good anyway

I actually redid it on a larger scale now. But the scanner didn't work properly =_= and now the contrast is too strong lol.

i can imaggine you hating rail roads after this XD at least drawing them, the effort that went on to this is very clear i see this as an emotional piece, a boy with arms open embracing death.....did i go to far? XD

wow, this looks very nice. The range of contrast is impressive, as is the attention to detail on the railroad tracks. The perspective looks great.
suggestions:
--I can't tell what the ground is on either side of the tracks. Grass? Gravel? Dirt with weeds? I think more definition there would help.
--the sky is kind of smudgy in places from the graphite, cleaning that up would make the drawing look much nicer. a couple clouds here and there might make the sky more interesting
--crop out the black areas from the scanner and the paper edges.

This looks quite awesome. Great details, lighting, shadows and composition. I would've loved to be able to see more though, especially in full view. That could be the kind of paper you've used though, not sure. Nonetheless it's a superb drawing.
