You know, I was thinking of a hilarious little crossover idea that gives a good ending to this episode (Fame And Misfortune) where the crowd actually gets dispersed. The crossover is with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Basically, Josuke (the main protagonist of JJBA: DIU) has been trying to get the rabid fans, critics, and haters to disperse all day long, and his patience is running out. And then, of course, one in the crowd insults his hair by saying that it's "one of Pinkie's failed attempts at making a cake". You should be able to see what happens next from a mile away:
(shouting in his native Japanese/Neighponese): IMA ORE NO KONO ATANA NO KOTO NANTSUTTA?! (WHAT THE F*** DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY HAIR?!)
(overhearing from inside): Oh no, I know exactly what's going to happen next...
: DORARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARAAAAAAA!

Midnight Aria (Me): Twilight, it's not her fault. Terrible things have happened and you didn't cause all of those bad things to happen. I know it's been a rough year, but we can fight back. Those haters... they like attention and make our lives miserable, but we are not like them. So, what do you say, Twilight? Are we still friends?

I felt Twilight's sadness, it's not her fault. Things went wrong for her and her friends. Critics are too hard to calm down

Ain't that the truth? Gosh it really is irritating whenever I myself come across those rabid ones.

I felt Twilight's sadness right when everything went wrong for her and her friends. It's true, people tend to remember
the mistakes you made when you become well-known.

The episode roasted us bronies big time and I LOVE IT. I admit that at first I was shocked that they actually had the balls to do that, but then I just laughed. It was the funniest episode in a long time. It reminded me of Stranger Than Fan Fiction, a.k.a. the episode that convinced me to stop overanalyzing the show. I learned my lesson then, so it was absolutely hilarious to see an even more savage episode made just for the fans who take everything far too seriously. I don't expect many people to learn their lesson this time either, but that's fine. I trust the show's creators got their frustration out of their systems.
I did feel sorry for the Mane Six, though. Being popular/unpopular can be hell, but fortunately everyone will most likely be back to normal by the next episode.

Seeing as they weren't able to have the crowd calmed down at the end. It perfectly represents those rabid people. XD

I heard his old script for this episode got heavily edited, but yes, he is a great writer.

yeah more then likely hasbro was like "no, no, no, definitely not, no, too many legal possibilities, no above the show rating." M.A. Larson has no problem writing the show for the older fans he knows there is just as big of a market for it as the foals but hasbro has to keep it for the kids.

I doubt the original script had anything above the show's rating. My point was that Larson wrote the script a couple of years ago, before Starlight was reformed. Someone edited the script to include Starlight, and I even read somewhere that Larson's original script wasn't quite as "mean", but I can't confirm that last part.

ahh yeah i saw that he said this wasn't his original script so maybe the directors had a part in it or they gave the script to another writer to edit and they just didn't get the credit they deserve

Yeah, that was weird. They should have told us who edited the script.

they probably didn't want to bother and will just release the correct part when they distribute it on video. but i agree they should've it be nice to know who helped get this like it was. they deserve praise for the beautiful rolling of the fandom lol.

"This is all your fault."
"None of this would've happened if you'd just stopped."
"No-one can help you now."
"Can you even remember why you came here?"
"The truth is that you're here because you wanted to feel like something you're not: A HERO."
"Do you *feel* like a hero yet?"
"We cannot escape anguish. It is what we are."

This was the first time I actually felt bad for Twi. She was honestly trying to do something good and she saw it brought out the ugly in people and hurt her friends. Sorta a painful episode to watch.
