Another world's worth of designs down...only three more to go! woo!

So here is our first "realistic" world. This is totally not connected to either Anime or manga, or common video games associated with those two.

Instead, this is based off of a world named Riven from the Myst series of games. Riven is the world/age from the second game as...well, the first game would not be very interesting, as there is no real characters involved, save two talking books and Atrus at the very end.

Riven will be our first "darker" world. While yes, Iwill be throwing darker twists into KH, especially in KH2, Riven is where things start to change. Yeah, Notre Dame is dark for Disney, but come on! Gehn, the villain, literally feeds insubordinate to giant sea creatures when he gets teed off.

It also features my interpretation of "The Stranger" as the world character, though she doesn't appear until later.

Since this world is more real and gritty, no one has bright colored clothing in it. About as bright as it gets is Catherine's red vest, but it's still pretty faded. So, I colored them normally then grayed out tones, even making the white off-white.

This also marks where I'm changing some things with character design. Unlike the original game where like...no passage of time seems to exist, I've changed it so Sora is a little older then 15 by the time Ansem is defeated. Thusly, the characters change over time - of note, Ashi and Shidou's hair becomes longer (Ashi's already 17 so she's not growing any, and Shidou won't age), and Sora will grow. Instead of altering hair/height with EVERY FUCKING IMAGE, I'm just doing it when it becomes majorly noticable.

Sora's Keyblade here is called "The Fifth Age," which is what Gehn calls Riven. It encompasses three aspects that are seen throughout Riven - The Moiety Dagger (the handle and the base design), Gehn's Symbol (the gold portion) and the Star Fissure (the black/stary part). Also, the D'ni symbol for Five hangs from the chain, and is on a portion of the blade hidden behind SORA'S MASSIVE HAIR. I tried to make it looked buffeted to fit the "realistic" tone of the world.
