I love the quality of this so much I kept it fsking HUEG.

So, I've always wanted to do one of the Station of Awakening's from Kingdom Hearts. I love their designs, and I found a blank template a long time ago to use for such a purpose. Alas, I had no use until now; and working on "Rose of May" I decided to make one for Ashi, which I wanted to do for a while as well.

No, this doesn't mean she gets a Keyblade. It's actually impossible for her to wield one; I can't give specifics, but it does have to do with her heart. And no, she's not a Princess of Heart either - come on, really? The Princesses of Heart have hearts made of pure light, while Ashi's is almost pure darkness. XD

The people in the circle are those who have most impacted her life. Sora, of course; and the three characters from Birth by Sleep. She also has Shidou in there (enjoy the sneak peek of her KH2 design!), and a mysterious figure. ;D

The one in the center isn't necessarily Ashi, but more of a figure connected to her past and to her heart. But I won't say more ;D The only thing "traced" from her is her head and arms, which is a mish-mash of various things (Cinderella and Aqua, mostly), but the rest of it is done on my own.

The two scenes are of the Keyblade Graveyard and Jurai. I did trace the Keyblade Graveyard backdrop from Ventus' Station. Jurai is free-handed, done to match the other. There is a connection between these two places, but you'll have to wait and see what it is

Finally, we have the Shadow Lilies along the bottom of her skirt, finalizing the connection. Those are also free-handed. The symbols in the outer circles are Celtic Knots, which I found on a website somewhere (again, lost the info for it ;_; I'm so terrible!). It represents the connection Ashi has in...things. ;D

The "stained glass" effect was done to the best of my ability to mirror the patterns on the actual Stations in the game. I think it turned out pretty well ^_^

Shidou was traced form a Yuffie image, but I modified it a tad to make her look a bit older. I attempted to shade her like everyone else, but I failed re-soundly at that. Oh well

Unfortunately, I downloaded the Station template AGES ago, and I totally don't remember where I got it or who made it. If ANYONE has any idea who make it, let me know so I can properly credit it! <3
