...So, I got the limited edition PSP for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. I AM THAT MUCH OF A FANTARD.And let me tell ya, I am HOOKED on Aqua. I haven't had a female character leave this much of an impact on me in a very, very long time. While there have been a lot of female characters I've liked or enjoyed, I'm seriously crushing on Aqua.
On a whole, most Japanese-like female chars don't leave me crushing on them. I mean, I love Hotaru and Gally to pieces, but it's not so much a "crush." Probably the last time I've been so impacted by a female character was Gally. I can't recall another time that I've become so obsessed with someone.
So, of course...I had to make a wallpaper of her. 8D
Not much to say about this. I liked how the background turned out in the end. *nods* The title comes from the Wayfinder charm in the center there, which Aqua makes for herself, Terra and Ventus.

Yeah, same here. I haven't seen all the movies, but Caleb is a big fan of anything Star Wars. He buys all the DVDs and loves all the parodies of it. Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Space Balls...pretty much anything Star Wars. I wanted to buy him a giant Yoda plush for Christmas, but he told me not to get him anything. If they still have it around his birthday, I'll give it to him then instead.
I've invited him to hang out with me and my buddies at Izumicon before, but he's always busy. I would have been too, but I had to take medical leave from school. He doesn't really like anime much, but he likes Power Rangers and wants to meet Johnny Yong Bosch, so I told him that if JYB comes to an anime convention near here, I'd let him know. Since he doesn't like anime and he doesn't really play that many video games, I haven't been able to convince him to cosplay with me. He has expressed interest in dressing up as a Star Wars character though, so if I could catch him when he's not busy, I'd invite him to come to a con with me and I'd dress up as Princess Leia to go with his costume. I already have her dress, though my silver belt seems to be missing. After all, there's no rule that says you HAVE to dress up as an anime character at an anime convention. LOL

A lot of people dress up as Star Wars/Trek characters at Anime cons. I even saw a full cast of Harry Potter at Ohayocon once. After all, cons were originally for Sci-Fi/fantasy, and Anime slowly wound it's way in. So, we're more then welcome to those genre's at our cons <3

I see several odds and ends at anime conventions. At Metrocon I've seen a Glinda (Wicked version), a Jessica Rabbit, an Anastasia, and a few others I can't remember. At Izumicon I saw an Edward (from Twilight) cosplayer and despite me HATING Twilight, his costume was good. At both anime conventions, I've seen lots of Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayers, DC Comics characters, and Marvel Comics characters. They all had amazing costumes, especially the Glinda and the Anastasia.
Exactly. Originally the conventions were all about sci-fi/fantasy and comics. Anime conventions only started in the US in the 90s when anime started to become popular. Plus there's no rule that says you HAVE to cosplay a character at a specific con. Supercon and Megacon in Florida are comic cons, but there are always lots of cosplayers from video games and anime.

Yeah, I agree with that logic. Sadly, I don't have anything that isn't Anime/Japanese Game in my wardrobe...except my Lizzie Borden costume. XD

I am not the type who would actually have the guts to punch someone (though it has crossed my mind several times), but I was tempted to shout "real vampires don't sparkle" at him.
Well, everyone has their things that they like. Most my costumes are anime/video game related too.

I'm not really into Kingdom Hearts--I want to be but I don't own a PS2--nor have I played Birth By Sleep...but god am I SUCH AN AQUA FANGIRL. She's so pretty. *_____*
