This has been a toil of labor for me.

Not only did I do a REALLY DRAMATIC, INCREDIBLY AWKWARD pose, I also did REALLY DRAMATIC LIGHTING.

And moving flame. I think I actually spent MORE time on the fire then the actual shading portion ;_;

Anyway.

This is a Tower of Time request I did for , of her totally rockin' Sailormoon fan character, Sailor Sunheart! I mean, come on; she's got a WHIP OF FLAME for pete's sake! How can she not be awesome?!

I wasn't expecting this to be so intense when I took the request on (it was a grab bag, and believe me when I say I was on this baby like white on rice). I was like "Hey, I should do her whip!" Since not a lot of people do it.

I went a diggin' for some references. Sadly, didn't have any (SAKKY YOU BETTER GET SUM D:< ) so I went to another alternative: SAILOR LEAD CROW.

And hohmygawd did this sucker take FOREVER. I had to shade it three times until I got this result. I don't think the shading is intense enough; but for maybe like my third attempt at doing really, really dramatic lighting, I think I didn't do too bad! About the only thing I'm sad about is you really can't tell she's got a gradient going on in her bodice. I'M SORRY JATE I TRIED TO MAKE IT LOOK MORE RED ;_;

...I am very entertained that you can see her behind.

HOT DAMN DID THIS TURN OUT SO COOL!
