Description
The MagisterColossus of Death
Created by the old gods of a forgotten era, the Magister acts as a conduit between the world of the living and the world of the deceased.
All-powerful and omnipotent, the Magister functions by siphoning energy from the souls that he judges and extracts from the realms of Telara. From the time of the Blood Storm War, the Magister has been particularly active with the ferrying and extraction of untold numbers of souls, some innocent, but the majority being those of the guilty.
Recognizing the universe in its entirety as one of suffering and pain, the Magister has taken the task of cleansing the worlds of Telara into his own hands. The more he judges, the stronger he will become. The Magister has replaced the cycle of suffering with his own brand of death and mayhem, hoping to usher in a world where he need not judge the souls of the wicked any longer.

I think less illuminati, and more Eye of Providence. Now associated with the dollar bill, and Illuminati, it really is all-seeing eye of God a symbol , having its origin in Christian iconography , showing an eye often surrounded by rays of light or a glory and usually enclosed by a triangle . It represents the eye of God watching over humanity

I'm going to agree with everyone else here and say that this is one of the best Death Colossi I've seen. Granted, the contest is over and I'm barely looking over the entries, but my breath caught when I saw this. Your description, the colors, everything about this is just perfect. Now, I'd be crapping bricks if I actually saw this pop out of a rift in the middle of a quest or something, but it'd be awesome if I ever actually saw it. It just WORKS. Long rant over. Summary: this is beautiful.

Im bitterly disappointed with the judges taste...I agree the 1st and 2nd winners deserve to be there...i thought 1 & 2 could of won anyway...But i always thought this one was going to be in the top 3 as well. To see the "touch of death" (death rift) gain 3rd place over this..is madness.. touch of deaths seems like a rift mob boss really.
I honestly think this should of won..its mind bendlingly awesome...i could of imagined walking across the plains and seeing this demonic colussus scare the shit out of me..

the detail in this picture is amazing and his design is quite haunting, the pyramid eyes add quite an interesting touch! also his pose and stature makes him REALLY seem like a sort of diety rather than a primitive monster like most other collosus i've seen
