Hallo! Characters belong to CopperCoinEyes, who has written a combo Alice in Wonderland/Peter Pan novel that she kindly let me read a bit of in order to come up with this illustration *v*Meanwhile, I'm trying to settle on a style...I wonder if it'll come to me soon u_u;;
I also miss everyone and really want to go back to the carefree days of spending eight hours on here lol

This is so cool! I love the contrast in colours and lighting between the top and bottom- the reaction this piece gives me immediately changes as soon as I change my view! It's a really awesome feeling. The details are magnificent, I especially love the pattern on the wall with the circles and flowers!

I LOVE THIS STYLE. It's such a...fitting style for the book (at least, I imagine so). I just love all the amazing details in the picture - from the walls patterns to the floor to the blanket to the balloons and the drawer to the stained glass and the light. And everything about the picture is so warm and cozy, with a nice sort of surreal feel to it. It's so soft and smooth! OH AND THERE'S A BIRD NEST TOO!
I love the contrast between the warm-coloured room to the dark night and the trees - and how the trees sort of act as a roof for the room and how there's grass in the foreground so it makes it seem like you're walking in on the room.
And every time I look at the picture, I keep seeing the room as 3D even though it's on paper (the word I'm looking for is depth XD), it just adds so much since, going up the picture, it seems to fall away into a more 2D picture so it brings the room to life - or that could just be me ><. At any rate - it really looks lovely!

Oh my gosh ;u; thanks for such a long, thoughtful comment *cry* I'm really grateful. I didn't even notice the 3d to 2d transition! Thanks for pointing it out...I've been trying to get more depth in my pictures, but I like the idea of 3d falling off into 2d and might experiment with that

I am sooo in love with this piece. OTL I just love that the trees form the ceiling of the room! And How there is grass growing in the room and there's this blend of architecture and nature! โฅ And I love how we can see the branches between the leaves! *D* <3And those balloons, I really want one! Especially the one with the cards and the one with the teapot. ;o; <3 I love the furniture in the room, the mirror, the bed, the ladder... everything. ;o; Even the toy and it's clothes on the floor and the miniture bottles on the drawers. ;o; I find it interesting that while it seems to be daylight outside the window, you reveal it's actually nighttime from the starry night revealed above. โฅ Love the stain glass window, love the little bird's nest... I love the choice of patterns you used for the walls/floors. /dies
I even love the texture you used on top of it all, with the sharp light lines that "scratch" the surface (most prominent in the trees). Funnily enough, I think it really adds to the glow of the picture. The picture is dark yet heartwarming. ;o; I've always admired the details in your works! <333
