I love how the rabbit lives in the middle of nowhere, but happens to have a cheerful house and cactus and the company of a cute bird ; u ;

I-I-I just can't, it's sooo beautiful and intriguing. It's that kind of work you can look at for very long, since it's different from all the other works.
I'm glad that you are back and happy to see your amazing art again!

I love the directional shading of the house's shadow, which gives a more traditional feel (did you in fact sketch this by hand and then color it digitally?) and the contrast in the color scheme. It's such a cute concept, and well executed too. Good job!

No problem, you deserve them! If you're ever looking for a good digital brush set that looks traditional, the Frenden set (for PS and Manga Studio) of pencil brushes is really fantastic.
Out of curiosity if you don't mind sharing, do you multiply the layers above, paint over the original drawing, or something else?

The Frenden brush set looks awesome- thanks for letting me know about it! Yep, you're right again. I multiply the pencil lines and color under them on a normal layer.
