this makes me think of how pure and innocent nature is, but also equally cruel at times. especially the last panel has some cruelty in it (heavy light contrast of brown/black tones seems invasive to the tender blue palette). still, they all are fascinating and deeply emotional (:

This reminds me of Fire Bringer which is my favourite book...the blue tones are very similar to the cover art by Kenny McKendry!

Very good work. The limited colour palette works here superbly well, the cold colors are not sterile, but rather give in the vibe of winter. I have to admire the astonishing control of brushstrokes! Watercolors are a harsh mistress, I know from my own humble experiences with this medium, and to be able to control it so well... It requires skills. Especially the white stag in the dark blue forest. Is it gouaches or did you used some masking technique to keep the stag outline so sharp?

They're actually three separate paintings, it pure coincedence that the colour palettes match so well. Though I mostly use cool tones, so maybe it's not so much of a coincedence after all.
I used opaque white to paint the stag.

This is beautiful.
The top one reminds me of my childhood.
The middle one reminds me of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
And the bottom one reminds me of my strong personality.
It's amazing to see this.
