Materials: Fimo air dry modelling clay, copper wire, folium, fake fur, acrylics, varnish, plastic beads and stonesSize: in a sitting position: height to horns ~19cm, width: ~17x20cmWoosh~ Finally finished this lil' creepah~
Hah... Actually... I don't really have the time right now to draw/paint...

So, finished this for the sake of offering her for an auction. A real one, not the online ebay.
That means, it will be judged first if its good enough to put up for bidding. :s

Great news~ At least for me... For now... Jenny and the green lil' Baby Dragon were accepted to the auction~
Now I'd really like to see if they will get sold or not, cuz as much as I've understood, estonians don't exactly value stuff like these. Hah.

Wow, and I always thought that fimo air cracks when it dryes (well it always does it to me).
Very interesting design and I like the contrast between its weirdness (like the number of eyes and ears)Β
and the obvious cuteness QQQQQQ.
And forgive me but I just can't stop myself from asking - what did you do to it that it didn't crack when drying?

Ehmm, okay, first time hearing it, but I constantly moistured the clay when worked on it and kept it inside a plastic bag whenever I took a small break and... that's it.
I have noticed now with my newer critter heads, that if I wait too long with making the lil' details/horns/carv something in and forget to spray water on it (the clay is more than half dry and it's harder to get it moist enough again) then it has started to break... Just some chunks of clay details dont want to stick anymore and/or break off.Β But that's what all clays do if you let it get half dry.
Β I dunno, I haven't had a cracking problem with it. I do know that clay shrinks in size, so maybe if you should mold around something, a folium ball perhaps, then if the clay layer is too thin, maybe then it cracks with drying because it doesnt have room for shrikage?... :s

thinks I do in clay are like 10-15 milimeters large
so there's no way I could put anything inside xD
Adding water might help althou my clay is kind
of hard to knid or whatever os the word. Will need
to try adding water, thanks for reply.
