So I'm thinking the basic story surrounding Spike the Ambassador is that he arrives at Celestia's court where everyone's so used to being sneaky and connivingΒ and backstabbingΒ that his carefree, open and honest attitude catches everyone completely off-guard. His quick wit and genuine chivalry confuses and warms quite a few hearts around him and reminds some people of their humanity. One cold lady especially...but it will take a lot to thaw her heart.Implying I'm going anywhere with this lol
P.s.: Names for this alternate universe are welcome. "Ambassador-verse" sounds kinda clunky.

With her actual name being Marsha Mallow. She does not want to hide her family name, but she very much does not want to be giggled at in court, so she made a big fancy name for prestige and testing if people listen, but usually just goes by Lady Rachelle Mallow.

Take mental measurements with eyes, compensate for heavy lunch date. Suggest spa as next destination. Capitalize on her distaste of the finer things to counter with dressmaking alternative. Final move, get her back into the boutique. Dress time, three hours. Fabulous time, eight weeks. Ability to subtly mock my sense of fashion... eliminated.
*NORMAL TIME*
Rarity: Oh! I was just admiring that lovely frock you're wearing. Tell me, the shoulder lacing, is it cross-stitched or hitch-stitched?
