oh god...what have i done ;-;
i didn't actually want to expand on the previous comic [link] , but this bit came up in a conversation yesterday and i felt i needed to draw it because it's so emotional.
the worst part is that when i drew that panel with sweetie belle, "roads" by portishead came on. i had to take a break because it was too much.
need cute and fluffy now T^T
i'll leave it to others to come up with blueblood's punishment.
edit: to clarify, i don't want to draw any more pages after this. even if i did, i wouldn't want to show blueblood's punishment, but how rarity and the others deal with this emotionally, and that's just too much sad for me. also, there could never be a proper ending. shit like this never ends. it sticks with you forever.

Spike hears about it, slips away at night turning into a beast, kinda like how he did in "Secret to My Excess", except he's a LOT smaller and more intelligent. So, he goes and hires two thugs and they sneak into Canterlot, entering Blueblood's chambers and grab him, beating him to a pulp as the two thugs hold him down and Spike violently castrates him. They leave, no one having seen them, in fact not even Blueblood because it was dark, Celestia finds him tied up hang in midair as she just passively comments, "You deserved more" before having him locked away in prison.
Later Spike enters Rarity's Hospital room, leaving the heart gem from "Secret to My Excess" without saying a word, leaving as Rarity glances at it, giving a weak smile
Hey if your gonna go dark, I will too, but I'll at least give a passive/positive ending

It would be something to wonder if Blue Blood knew who he was attacking: A bearer of one of the elements. Or maybe he knew, but he was so full of himself, probably confident that Auntie will protect him from any consequence he committed. Probably stripped of his title, his property confiscated, sent to exile...? Now the two guards, they'll most likely be cashiered & thrown to the stocks, if not executed
After this, how can Rarity continue to be the symbol of generosity. Thing like this will scour the soul of a woman. Unless Rarity somehow forgives her assailant. That would restore her as a symbol of generosity.

no one will forgive their attacker, so pony-ville and equestria are doomed for the powers of friendship is over. generosity has died when blue blood touched her. also he probably did think that for power/lots of money have a habit of doing that it seems.

Explicit Escretoire leaned down and whispered into BlueBlood's ear, a dark grin stretched across his face. Explicit's paw was massaging his shoulder roughly, clearly to make him uncomfortable.
"I don't mean to be a bother, dear, but could you speak less? Your voice is quite the turn off for me," he whispered, letting his tongue run creepily over the other pony's earlobe, "Besides, I'd much rather hear you scream for forgiveness~"

I've been trying to think of a way to say this with out angering anyone but I starting to think that can't be done so here it goes.
I don't think any of them, with maybe the exception of Spike, would reach a level of anger that would drive them to take revenge. At least not without knowing the truth of what happened and I don't think Rarity will ever tell them.

Given that one of art's purposes, depending on the artist's intentions, is to stir and invoke emotions, this, sir, is a work of art. Yes, the primary emotion it invokes is sadness, but in that endeavor, the two comics on this subject definitely go far to stir emotion.

You know, I recently found a relatively obscure fanfic by the name of "Prince Charming". Rarity, feeling desolate and alone after the events of the Gala, begins to obsess over finding a stallion...and eventually goes insane and robs the ponyville morgue to create her ideal Prince Charming, Frankenstein-style. Pinkie finds out and gets killed, while Rarity is sent off to the funny farm.
I think a fitting punishment for Blueblood would be something along those lines. Killed, then Frankensteined back to life for an eternity of living as Rarity's slave.
