I had to battle with this one. I totally blew up when I spilt water all over it, I couldn't really do anything but wait for it to dry, so there are some hidden smudges here and there...... I did my best to fix it though!
Okay, now I must explain the painting:
I put the White Rabbit in my sort of outfit, boyish clothing most the time, you may mistake this rabbit as a boy, a few people already have.
The White Rabbit has kept her shy freaked out look, as if she is about to get up and run away. I am also a very shy person, so I think that rather fitted in well.
She is wearing a leather jacket that I have, listening to music through her iPod Nano with big badass skullcandy headphones!
I kept it all black as it is my favourite colour, with luminous green to give it a darker feeling, really the rest of the image is wonderland based as I put myself in that world!

The tree's details, the rabbit's anatomy and facial expressions (God, if there's anything harder to draw than birds or dragons, it's rabbits.)

I don't know how I had patience for this. Especially when I spilt water all over it and spent the rest of the night (lets say till 5/6 in the morning?) fixing it.

It looks awesome, as I said, I love that effect on the tree, and the detail that I like the most is the pink Skull on the headphones!
You could have made the squares, in the background a little more 'Solid'. They look a little to faint according to me. The leather jacket is awesome, and the anatomy is great!
And I agree with Charlie, you do have a chance, I just hope the one that judges the contest is fair. Most of the time, they aren't.
I can't really see the Smudging either.
And yesh, Miss Negative, I mean everything I say in here -3- .

Thank you x I is quite dark those squares are irl, but this old scanner can't tell the difference between dark black and a slightly darker black. Stupid thing.

i really cant notice, it looks deliberate, and it gives a kinda 'fade away' effect
