Hyakkimaru from Tezuka Osamu's Dororo. Circa 2007.A gift to a friend who introduced me to the manga Dororo.

Dororo was swell, I just wish Mr.Tezuka was allowed to finish it properly. Still, the concept, art and execution was great.

I read through all of Dororo in about three hours. Finishing it left me hungry for more. If it had been stretched out to a proper length it would have been the best thing ever. I think I need to check out the live action movie version that came out in 2006? Have you seen it?

No, I'm afraid I haven't seen it since because Dororo's a grown woman for some reason (just kidding! Obviously it's to squish in a popular actress by all means). Still, some comic book fans said it was OK so maybe I'd try it someday.

From what I've seen of the DVD case it looks pretty serious. I really admire the manga for being able to mix humour and serious parts.
