Since just posted this on her dA, I figured I'd do the same. As some of you may or may not know, we are losing our amazing friend to the city of LA. She is moving on to bigger and brighter things, which I hope will help keep her love for animation growing. Raven has been in my life for almost 10 years and she has taught me much over that time...most of it positive
We will miss her so, but wish her all the luck in her new journey working at Cartoon Network. This was taken yesterday at her going-away party. Since there was a bunch of us ol' "aka-ers", we decided on a group shot. Not all of us of course, but whoever made it out yesterday.

Hmmm... so, I know that raccoon is stuffed... but I can't help but think how frickentastically awesome it would be if it were actually alive and had somehow gotten into the house without anybody knowing, and just happened to be in the shot when the photo was taken. The ensuing pandemonium would have been an unforgettable moment to share together, lol.

Suggest to her to look up the daily traffic reports because the traffic is notoriously bad in LA (jams, dead end streets, etc), and take the back roads & avoid the freeways. Heres a quick link about nieborhoods in LA [link]

It is a small industry- I hired Jayson Theissen for a Flash music video a few years back. We never met, it was all online, but he was great to work with! Sorry to hear you buddy is moving. Good luck to her.

I always love seeing pictures like this. It's great to see that the people you admire for the work they do and their fantastic talent are, at the end of the day, are just ordinary people too.

I hope you and your long time friend are not apart for to long! It is always sad to see the parting of friends, but at least you two can keep in touch much easier in today's technological world. Hopefully you both will attend some conventions together and keep in touch! Don't let the miles keep the conversations at bay!

Like I said on Raven's pic, I met Raven, Scott, Daniel, Jim, and Zoe back in 2007 at AKA.
I still have a drawing Scott did and a signed poster Zoe sent over. Danny even personally gave me extremely rare plushes of the Eds, and I believe Daniel took a photo of it for me.

Yeah, it's hard leaving behind grate friends that have done so much for you and given you fun memories. Due to family issues I had to move away from some amazing friends. There begging me to come back and offering me to live with them lol. But some times you have to think about your self...I know how she feels...it sucks

You kids will stay in touch, a wise pony once said "a good friend is like a good book, it'll last forever." I'm glad to have been able to get to know the staff in my small ways and I know I'll continue to support you guys even when some of you move on from the show.
