I had such a blast this weekend at EQLA. I got to meet up with so many amazing friends I've met over the past year or so through this community. So many wonderful artists and musicians all under one sunny roof - the positive energy was just astounding.Anyways, here's just a quick pic of my besties.. Cat Andy and Raven

Ha! I'd know it anywhere! I've been there a few times. I would love to go to a Pony con one of these days! This is probably one of the strongest and friendliest fandoms I've ever seen! *hoofbump*

That a really cool photo. I only recently been part of the fandom and plan to go to some of the very cons myself and thinking about going to EQLA one next year in november time, haven't been in the USA for almost five years now. Missed the experience and the fun I had out there when working for CCUSA.

Nor do I, but I got over it a few years ago. Being self-conscious about a smile is just silly. As long as people don't force you to stare at your own pictures you really shouldn't care.
And ignore kef's comment about practicing. Don't practice, just do it. Seriously, don't hold back smiles, it only makes you look somewhat out of place.

I am with !! I know you may not like your smile much but its something we fans love to see none the less. How can a happy looking Sibsy be anything but awesome? I am not saying to force them out for us just know we don't mind if it looks a little awkward.

It sounds like you had a VERY awesome time! I envy you for being able to meet up with many amazing friends - I've been stuck with my assignments, but they must be done!
One assignment completed tonight. Next: complete my 2D animation assignment and make sure it is ready for Chameleon next week.
Then the year is over.
Oh boy I am probably going to go graphic noveltastical during the summer break and continue from my graphic novel assignment - it shall be a great way as well to keep in practice with storyboarding.
Ah, California... I haven't been there since I was 11 years old.
