The bottom drawing was actually done in pen..then I just coloured it with red colerase.
and the top was sketched in red and outlined in I think 2b pencil..

wow thanks, now that you mention it and with a closer look, I can see the differences, really helpful information, i don't work alot with color and color pencils but I'd like to and have been asked to for a project, this is really helpful, thanks

I like them too! Not my favorite Pixar movie, but I like it a lot.
By the way, I wonder what you're thinking about upcoming Cars 2. I'm really uncertain about it all, but I'm always too hopeful when it comes to sequels... and it's not direct-2-video, right?

I'm hoping the story is stronger than the first one at least...and I heard it might be involving some sort of international sort of deal...so it might appeal to more than just americans this time around.
And yea, it's going to the theatre...so we'll see!

it's not direct-2-video, right? Far as I know, it won't be a direct-to-video release, seeing Pixar really doesn't go for that (Thank God!)
And to be honest, I'm more concerned about Toy Story 3, seeing John Lasseter is not directing it this time...I hope that movie, as well as Cars 2, do well in production.

I'm not really worrying about Toy Story 3, because Pixar people sound reasonable enough not to ruin one of their biggest legacies. And I kind of stopped being Lasseter fan after American Dog turned into bolt (though maybe I'm wrong on this one - I'll have to go and see).

Yeah, someone shared that information with me a long while ago, and when I heard it, I was definitely shocked. Didn't think he would force Chris Sanders on that project...and to be honest, Bolt looks like another Buzz Lightyear story (actin' like he's still a superhero, when he's really not). So, we'll see how that goes.
Only thing that will suck for Toy Story 3 is that Jim Varney is not alive to do the voice of Slinky Dog. I wonder who they will replace him with.
