Basicly with this one, I was trying to achievea very plastic look, that makes people believe
that what they see is real
something to touch and feel
and the fact it´s just a CGI never ought to reveal...
...but seriously, I was sick of rendering spheres. And I have not enough time to create something complex and sophisticated.
But I want to be creative. So, I developed some techniques to create something simple but impressive. All thanks to unltra-realistic raytracing always making sure, it looks photo^^ Thanks for that. Especially to Maxon and Next Limit Technologies
It´s a lot of fun, playing around with light, materials and camera settings just like in reality but with much better, faster and cheaper stage sets^^ But I´m still learning a lot.

Actually, it´s a completely homogenic material. No textures used. Just for the background reflecting on the bubble´s surface.

no bump maps? Looks like it does. Maybe it's the reflection.
