Description
Next up from radical weapons designer KazTech™, is their take on the machine pistol. A complex weapon, but fitting for the KazTech™ image; the K-5.7 "Denier" certainly redefines the term "machine pistol". The Denier uses a free-float recoiling barrel to reduce muzzle rise which in itself became quite the headache for the design team. After several failed prototypes, KazTech™ commissioned American company, C.H.I.™ (Cobra High Intelligence) Weapons to collaborate and produce the first working prototype in the year 2088. In order to compensate for a common miss-feeding due to the barrel being unable to lock in the rear position and leading to jams and even misfired rounds causing major injury; the barrel was redesigned with a small mechanical system linked to the rotating bolt that releases a set of doors on the sides of the barrel to lock against the frame of the weapon. Once perfected and built upon, the K-5.7 was ready for testing by multiple countries around the world and finally adopted by the Russian Federation and REBICS Military.
