Yeah the first season is mostly just little one-off episodes to help build an idea of the universe they live in and how it works, etc. Season two is when things get spicy ewe And yee the show is really entertaining, even if there's not really a plot established for a while you've gotta admit that it still manages to be fun to watch UwU DIPPER IS SUPER CUTE aaaa <3 sweet little nerd friend ;;W;; And I like Stan too xD
(whispers Bill is my favourite character in the show though but Dipper comes in second owo )
Also not sure if you're there yet but Soos is a great character too omg, there's a series of shorts that the GF team made while GF was on hiatus for about a year or so and wooOOOOO they are all golden, the intro to "Fixin' It With Soos" is always a great experience xD Overall I think the show just has this special charm to it???? Something about it just feels fresh and intriguing and I love it ;w;
