Your composition, colors, and technique are just perfect. I love your use of black and white (and a dark foreground with a light background) and the way it makes the painting look lit from the back like stained glass.
Would you mind if I asked about your unique wet-on-wet watercolor technique? Do you get this effect using salt? Salt never looks half so good for me when I try it.

Hello! (:
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I admit that painting is quite old then I don't remember exactly how I proceeded. Usually I get all the paper wet, then I put a first wash of colours and immediately add salt. Actually, the effet depends of many factors :
- the typ of paint (colours in tubes usually work better)
- the colours themselves (ochre works very well, some blues, black and Payne grey too)
- the brand (I use Winsor&Newton half-pans, but also some Artmate black and blue tubes - a very cheap brand but wonderful salt effect garanteed!)
- the paper (personnally I use mostly Canson watercolours or mixed media paper, 224 or 300g/m²)
I hope it helps!

Thank you so much for the advice! I will experiment with this salt technique and see how it turns out!

(quoique ça pourrait m'inspirer quelque clair-obscur hihiiiiiiii)

Here come the ammonite rocks again! I can see some Puimun influence in the water, especially in the part closer to Argentë, but it keeps your touch to it (:
And the way you've painted Njëll makes me unsteady about drawing dragons again, look what have you done.
