Model = Chin ( [link] )EDIT: An obviously bored dev art admin with too much time on his hands and not enough sense in his head decided this didn't fit in the artistic nude category and so moved it to misc. The irony is that the comment in the note said "this is definitely more of a glamour shot" why didn't it get moved to glamour then? Why Misc? (I moved it from misc to glamour myself)
This really pisses me off because the intent of this shot is not that of a regular "glamour" shot but a more artistic one.
I can look through the "artistic nude" category here and find a endless supply of shots less artistic than this one.
I take great exception to some pimply little know it all telling me what the intent of my work is.

I thought it was quite artistic. I love the fact that there is so many implications of purity, like the brightness of the photo, the clean white underwear, the was she seems to be looking demurely over her shoulder. Then the sheer thong, a type of underwear notorious for being naughty and sensual adds something else to the picture. The idea that you reveal enough to keep to the lovely nude body and yet wisely covor her woman's flower with a well placed foot just adds to the gentle contrast. I absolutely love it and think that it definitely belongs in the artistic nude, more so than MANY other works placed there.

I read the edit at the top of the page and would be curious to find out what they might think of someone like Robert Mapplethorpe's work. I am sorry that these sorts of media offer so many restrictions to an artist's actual intent. It is a pity that one person (who wields some measure of power) can make a decision of where something does or does not belong based on their perception of the piece. Art is and always will be interpretive, I can't tell you how many times I have made my own decisions on a composition only to later see an interview with the artist that completely destroyed my preconceived notion. I believe that a shot this in tune with what can feel aesthetically pleasing while maintaining the subtle nuances of artfulness is so much more than a "glamour shot". Keep up the good work at any rate and I hope this doesn't prevent you from posting other work in the future.

excellent image. I'm in favor of the admins position to move this piece away from artistic nudes. All to often artists will photograph what they think is nude but the camera records otherwise. And I know that placing the piece in this section will get more attention than any other place here on DA. To me Posting here is to proudly display your talent for the world to see, and would you rather have talented artists view & eventually comment. Or would you rather want to be popular and have your accomplishments gawked at by ignorant novices who make worthless comments.

I really like this shot, very soft. I like the texture of the underpants vs the skin.
I feel your pain for the movement of the art - I had something moved once and it irritated me so bad I even tried to delete it and resubmit it... but the server KNEW it was the same and it wouldn't let me put it where I wanted it. Sigh. I think I just outright have it offline at the moment because it irritated me so badly.
