after randomly stumbling into this again while viewing through my old downloaded deviations, I decided to come back here and fav this
The light and sepia coloring is a great touch there
Though I still think the hat looks like from "Kasperle theater" (it's bound to have an english translation, I just can't find it) [link] (the guy on the left) 
It's pretty funny seeing this now, considering that they're actually making a game with Sonic wearing a sword and being a knight and such...
Thought the screens I saw of "Sonic holding a sword" so far actually weren't as cool as this thing here
