Description A quick painting of Dracula I made as a tribute to Sir Christopher Lee, the man, the myth, the legend. Your legacy is immortal. RIP.

I was born in 1990, so I haven't seen most of the films he's in until LOTR and Star Wars. Then later, I saw him in The Man with the Golden Gun and the Dracula films. I adore him as Dracula. He's the best Dracula and the best person to portray a vampire in my opinion. His on-screen presence alone gives me chills. And I find it super radical that he's into metal music as well. I've listened to one of his albums, though I'm not fortunate enough to own a copy. Him and the characters he played had inspired me in life and in art. Thank you, Sir Lee, for being so awesome.

Despite seeing and experiencing so much of the 20th century, the man certainly knew how to keep up with the times, right to the end. ☼

Great minimalist coloring/composition.

Thank you!

In an interview, Peter Jackson said Sir Lee always love telling stories, especially of his experience of WWII. To me, he's like one of the last remnant of that era, though like you said, he certainly knew how to keep up with the modern world. And he seemed like a humble man as well, no matter how actually incredible his life was. Which I find really awesome and admirable.

Yeah; in a world where everything seems to always be about hype and self-promotion, he was something else.

I believe, with his passing, he took some WWII/SAS secrets with him...?

Yep, I'm pretty sure he did. I wonder what could those be...I guess some secrets are meant to be forgotten.
