Description Japanese Type 97 medium tank rolling through an an old creek bed somewhere in Califo- I mean, Burma.

---

This model was a lot of fun to work on, especially for someone who's been out of practice for so long. The flag was made using a paper decal cut up and washed with citadel's agrax earthshade to resemble wear and tear, all wrapped around a piece of copper wire painted brown. The end result was a bit roughshod but I think the little bit of color it added to the model makes a huge difference.

This is great painted and weathered model, but there is some little mistakes:
1. As i can see you tried to make mud on rollers and hull, but in that case why tracks are clear? It seems that they are not painted at all.
2. On a real Chi-Ha tank on the support rollers were rubber bandages, but on your model they are painted in base color. Also, on them you did not removed mould lines.
3. Something wrong with left track, looks like it is not pulled on rollers.

Flag looks quite realistic, a feeling that it is not the first day develops under the sun on the battlefield.
In the end I want to say that the model turned out very well, you did a great job, congratulations!

Thank you very much for the feedback! This is one of the first scale models I've worked on at this skill level so I did indeed feel shaky on some of the finer details on the model.

The support rollers were an oversight on my part, a lot of the reference photos I found either didn't have a reliable angle or the lighting/color of said photo wasn't sufficient enough. The tracks and the mould lines are mostly due to my own inexperience, those rubber band-like tracks were hellish to put on and I simply lost patience with the left one.

Again, I appreciate your feedback and I'm looking forward to doing more of these in the future.

For the first model in a new scale for you it is made perfectly! It is really difficult to change the scale of the models from the usual to the new, unfamiliar. Keep up the good work!)
