I'm glad that this image is set right next to Cai in the Gallery so that I can imagine him bellowing "WART! Stop SMOULDERING and get back to work!" (Arthur might well answer "do you think looking this good is EASY?").

I love him! Those colors are perfect (love the Celtic brooch) and that hair (swoons). We didn't have the term "fangirl" when I was a young teen, but when I read "The Once and Future King" Arthur was my first literary crush!

Oh, The Once and Future King... I was far too young when I first read it, and hated it. Afterwards, it made me fall completely in love with Gawain, and it's still the only book whose ending makes me cry.

For Arthur, I tried to develop a young man who would look as a believable cross between Uther and Ygraine. I'm pretty pleased with this look .
