DA is stupid. It has really, really lost it's greatness over the years, and I now regret owning an account here: it's degrading. From
hence forth, my art and previous journal entries will be deleted...I really wish I could delete this whole page, but I don't think I
can...this place has lost what it once had, a place for good art and repectable artists/art appreciators. It's ridiculous. Well, at
least to me. It's begun to overflow with crappy images I don't even consider art, like anime, furries, and distastful nudity (mind
you, I draw nudes...but many here are getting too obscene...in a non-artisitic way...) It's pathetic really, that now-a-days anyone
could slap something down and call it art...and actually have it considered such. There's too many children here, too much immaturity
and not enough art. And I know there are some amazing artists here! I really do, and I think they are above this joke of an
"artist's" site. Where once beauty could be found in the rich colors and the subtle curves of the painters mind, it has now been
brought to anything with blood or wings. I see the same shit everywhere here, only by different people. It's ridiculous. I even had
some idiot child, 12 or so I believe, try to tell me that I had stolen somebody elses' art. HAHAHA! Yeah effing right! It has gone
wayyy overboard with the gallery views, making popularity a number one to actually get good, constructive comments...critiques that
struggling artists need to help them pursue their dreams...not idiotic remarks such as, " thatz s0 kewl!" or "...I wish I could draw
like that >.>" I hate it, and it's pathetic. Sorry. Noone really puts any thought into the comments they make, they just want people
to add them to get more views. Yes, I love it when people come to my gallery and enjoy my work, but I'd rather showcase it to people
