I actually got the shape of this dragons head out of another drawing of mine "Childish Innocence". It was in the left wing. lolzThe quote down the bottom of the page says:
"Water droplets sparkle in the light, and then you touch them."
If you look closely you'll see the dragon is crying because it is wounded. The question is, If it's a leaf dragon then why is out in a desert? Its because it had to run away from its home from the beings trying to catch it for it's beauty. Hence the quote. I made the quote up myself XP

Very cool idea, I like the detail you've put on the edges of the leaves. He almost looks like a cross between a gryphon and a dragon, just because of how soft and feathery the wing looks. Excellent shading - it could use a few more highlights but overall you've done a very good job of defining the leafy sections and adding depth. Nice job!

originally the leaves were going to be armour, hence it not covering the wings, but you know what it's like with artwork. has it own mind!

Yay more dragons, this picture rates an 8.5, because of the nice shading you have all over its body. But I think more shading is needed on that big wing on it's side, the background in this is picture more obvious then some of your 2005 drawings but I still think it could do with much more detail in it, but your dragons posture is good and I love the leaves shading on this dragon. ^^

Yeah the wing is supposed to be more fluffy than leavy. Originally I think he was meant to be covered in armour....but it ended up looking like leaves... O_o

The shading on this picture is awesome! The way you drew the leaf pattern gives the dragon a lot more depth. I like the story you have to go along with it too.
