I favor this one... I think the color and the shading you used are great! You kep the positioning of the light source the same throughout the picture, which is always helpful. The scale pattern on the body of the dragon was well blended too, in my opinion. The way you drew it sort of softened it, so that it does not look too mechanical.

The eyes and mouth of the dragon give the piece a different mood entirely! It's odd, creepy, and strange, as well as very intriguing!

The wings of the dragon look wonderful too: the bone structure is perfect, being both sharp and round while retaining proper anatomy, shading, and positioning. You remembered to fold up the membrane, with was right too!

As far as crit goes, I think that the dragon's back legs fold like a human's, which seems like it would be incorrect. But then again, no one knows.

*snickers* Smiling? You have to wonder the story behind this...

Yay a dragon I'd rate this one a 7.5. I think that you could have improved it a little bit with the colouring of his underbelly, it is lacking sufficient texturing, less white there would help and I think your dragons right arm looks a little off and perhaps a longer body length because of his huge wings. But those wings and head are very nicely done with the shading and colouring.
