Sophias eyes opened wide in fear at this statement, and she began to whimper through her gag. Dawn silenced her with a quick tug on the chain, pulling her forward.

'The Mistress is the leader of one of the biggest crime organisations in the Kingdom, Sophia. She's got some interest in you - I don't know why - which is the only reason she hasn't already arranged for you to disappear. Her patience isn't limitless, though, which is why I strongly suggest that you back off.'

She quirked an eyebrow at the helpless girl. 'Now. If I remove your gag, are we going to be able to have a civilised conversation?'
