It is believed that his "eyes" either laid the foundation for, or mutated into the other two major dojutsu in the ninja world: the Byakugan and the Sharingan are link 2 the rinnegan like the sage son,and lets not forget It has been said that the Sharingan was somehow derived from the Hyuga clan's Byakugan plus the ancestor's of the uchiha eyes did't have sharingan,he had same ripple like rinnegan pattern of concentric circles. It's implied albeit a little loosely that you need the sharingan then senju DNA and or chakra. And even then you just might not get anywhere. Though to be fair madara and hashirama were both transmigrants of indra and asura respectively so that likely player a larger part of it as well.

If you didn't know Silent- Shanin, Hamura Otsutsuki, the younger twin brother of the sage of the six path, is the ancestor of the Hyuga clan and Otsutsuki (from Hamura's bloodline) clan, and from the movie: the last, we learn that Hamura awaken the advance form of the Byakugan: Tenseigan (similar to how the Rinnegan is the advance form for the Sharingan), in which it rivals the Rinnegan in power wise, therefore in order for the Byakugan to evolve into the Tenseigan, you'll need to combine the chakras from both Hyuga and Otsutsuki members in order to create Hamura's chakra in one's body, similar in how you evolve the Sharingan into the Rinnegan by combining both Indra's and Asura's chakra to create Hagoromo's chakra in one's body.

Sasuke didn't awaken a full Rinnegan. He got some abilities, yes, but not the full eye, as it was simply an infusion of power form the Rikudo Sennin from what I understand. For someone to unlock the full Rinnegan, they'd need to have blood that carries genes of both the body and the eyes of the Sennin.

No, the Rinnegan is born from the Sage's chakra. Sasuke's Rinnegan was a full Rinnegan, it offered all the powers of Madara's as seen by its usage of the paths. The need for Senju and Uchiha is a misconception as it truly lies in the power of Indra and Asura. One with Senju (Uzumaki included) or presumably Uchiha could carry a transplanted eye though at lesser pwer for DNA though.

Recently it was revealed that the Rikudo Sennin had a brother who had the Byakugan, Otsutsuki Hamura. Google it if you don't believe me.

The Sage of Six Path's mother(Kaguya Otsutsuki) had the Byakugan AND the Sharingan. With both of them she could easily be Big Brother.

I think key word think there is like a mongako Rinnegan like there is a mongako sharingan ( not sure just a thought because of pictures) also The sage of Six Paths was an Uzimaki and second the sharingan eye has some resemblance to the Uzimaki clan symbol and sealings.Β

Not really. Well, people say one needs first the sharingan to then get the rinnegan, Although Madara stole Hashirama-sama's cells to get it and Sasuke got it thanks to Hagoromo.
