Before I describe I want to give a shout out to some fellow deviants: MLauNeim, AsianPsylocke, Veronas and Zigorc ->> and here's why:While back I found this epic Supergirl post from MLauNeim, go check out her awesome work. Anyway, I started tinkering in photoshop to give the image the entire body, to expose the belly etc. I was halfway there when I decided to ask her permission to upload my edit of her design on Deviantart. We had a little miscommunication (langauge wise) and I thought it wasn't going to happen. That's where AsianPsylocke and Veronas stepped in. They speak spanish where as I can barely speak Dutch let alone Spanish. They relayed my question to MLauNeim and after a while I received word from Veronas that MLauNeim was actually okay with it.... however, que intense music here, I had already started working on my own complete design and liked how it had progressed. Anyway, to make a boring story longer, I decided to continue with my own design, yet I do have to say that my inspiration came from MLauNeim's design.
I would also give a shout out to Zigorc for his great chestplate design and allowing me to use it in the design zigorc.deviantart.com/art/Supe… so don't forget to check out his page!
I also have an alternative version of this design, slightly more based on the comics, however I am not 100% happy with the result. I might post it later after tinkering with it some more.

Well, yeah, I mean, the belly shirt is iconic with Supergirl. I normally don't like any other version (though the outfit for the TV show with Melissa Benoist works for me).

I think the New 52 Supergirl is attached to the Current Supergirl. Because Kryptonians on Planet Krypton don't age when they leave space for years. On Earth, She matures around 18 or 19 years old. The Original Supergirl from Action Comics died around 1985 she had so many incarnations. She was adopted as Linda-Lee Danvers as an orphan at Midvale Orphange as she aged around the 18-20's, she became Performing arts student at Stanhope College near Midvale, IL.
The Current Supergirl is confuzed on earth, she was told to look after her cousin Kal-El before he was born, but the Original Pre-Crisis version says Superman survive first before his cousin did. She was confuzed and that's how she became his secret weapon that no one on earth knows.
