Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes.inspired by 's contest.
actual size of the crane: wingspan 9mm, length (head to tail) 8mm, and height (bottom to top of tail) 5mm.
That was quite hard to make but so worth it.
No, I did not use tweezers to make the crane.

i know personally how hard it is to fold one of these cranes at this scale...had to use a toothpick and later a large needle just to make the folds correctly...need to make another one...might help me focus on something positive for a change...

Oh wow, I used to make paper cranes out of half a piece of Starburst wrapper, but I've never made one that small. When it's that small, it looks so.... epic. Which is quite a contradiction XD

Saa....I remember reading that book in grade four....I tried so hard to remember the name of the book but couldn't, so after reading this, I now know the name again, so I'm going to look for the book!
