You guys helped Bowser into transform all the Mushroom Kingdom citizens into blocks, kidnap the princess, transform the Mushroom Kings into weird stuff, conquer the galaxy, and another evil things. So, yeah... you are the bad guys. Deal with it...
...or be like the nice Koopas and Goombas of Paper Mario/M&L and don't work for Bowser.
