What do you use, if you do, to seal the mats? I'm curious because I am interested in maybe creating mats of my own. And I believe you said you use Copic markers for the mats?

No sealant, unfortunately. The only thing one could do would be to use some spray fixative, but I doubt that would save it from a spilled soda or somesuch

I am also a big fan of the slivers. I know a much loved work of art like this is priceless to its maker, so I wouldn't dream of asking you to sell it. However might it be possible for you to do another for commission?

Holy crap that is a damn awesome mat. Would you consider doing another based on the three Sliver Legends? Legion, Overlord, and Queen.

*BTW I love the touch you gave the Virulent Sliver on the corner for use of Poison tracking.

That's an interesting idea. I will give it some thought!

You can find white playmats online or in retail stores that sell MTG cards. (If they don't have any, ask if they'll order you some! )

Example:

They range from 6 - 10 dollars or so in price, depending on where you go.

I use Copic markers, which are alchohol based, and take to the mat itself wonderfully! They are very expensive, but the advantage to Copics over other alchohol-based markers is the 'brush' tip on the sketch style markers, really wonderful. Allows for really great blending. It has taken me years to amass the collection I have! Copics are $5 - 9 a piece, and you can find them at most art stores.
