My second HTTYD fanart! I'm so, so, sooooo proud of this. I'm experimenting with a new method of shading (or, I was. I've trying something else now) and I rather liked the end result.

AND IT HAS A BACKGROUND, ZOMG!!!!!!!1!!!!11!!!

I never make backgrounds (at least not difficult ones like this. XC ) but i really like the relaxed, sunny feel this one gives. And yes, they're in the cove.

I wanted to just capture the effortless feel of the friendship Toothless and Hiccup share. This is after the movie - as you can see, Hiccup has his prosthetic. The idea behind this was to make a picture of them laughing, something I don't think Hiccup got to do much as a kid. They're laughing so hard that Toothless literally rofl and Hiccup fell over (on to Toothless)
