I feel that in terms of captivity, this one is better than my actual image because the composition is much stronger. Thumbnails mean so much to an image -- it determines whether or not someone will notice the image enough to get a closer look. So therefore, if there is nothing interesting in the thumbnail, one will not click to see the image.
I've really a long ways to go before learning how to use effective compositions with minamal effort to entice an audience.

The Wip for the deviation you submitted later? Coolness. Don't see many of these. Sadly, haven't read Peacemaker Kurogane. Only have heard of it.
But he's cool. I love his indifferent expression while swinging the sword. He looks bored. Tedious work is it? Dunno what you're getting at with the thumbnail thing completely, since the thumbnail of this is just a smaller version, but I'm a little slow anyway. Thing that sticks out the most for me are the clothes. They just look so natural and perfect. Nice. And he has a cool scarfy thing. ^.^
