Mt. Rainier... shot from the sky! Taken on an airplane not long after take-off as we flew back home after a lovely 10-day mini-vacation to Washington State (Seattle/Bellingham area). It was a wonderful trip. The horizon was always dominated by this beautiful mountain, along with others such as Mt. Baker. I was pleased at how nicely this shot turned out. And yes, that my friends is SNOW... in JULY no less

We lived in Anchorage from 1960 to 1963 went there via Washington state and came down through there after driving down the Alcan ..
