I decided to rework some line art I drew about 2 years ago (comparison shot through the link). Aaaaaand I’m dead. I spent SO LONG drawing and redrawing those fucking shooting stars, I hope I never decide to include another one in a picture again. (Of course, I’ve said the same thing about cel shading wings, and look what that got me. I think 70% of my OCs are angels or demons.)

Oh wow, this is such an emotive piece! I love the expression on the angel, since it really shows a lot of tension and almost anguish. I feel like the color scheme is cold to simulate that feeling the being is experiencing, so it works really well with the drawing! You also have well rendered anatomy and I enjoy this picture as a whole! Great work!
