Portrait of Selene from underworld. Not happy with her face, but im at a loss as to how to improve it. Thoughts anyone?Fabre Castel graphite pencils 2H-8B
Several reference images used. Scanner dulled down the shadows and made them scratchy. Looks smoother in real life.
Drawn in my A4 Sketch Book. 15 Hours 45 min to complete.

I, if I can say, I think it is her head that is like too flat? it is more like a round, so I think this is why she look funny, but otherwise, it is really nice!

hmm. i never though it could be the hair. I'll look into that on my next piece. Ive just finished one of Scarlett Johanson as Black Widow from Avengers, that turned out a lot more like the actress than this one did. I might have to do Kate again some time down the track as a different character. See if i can pin point the exact problem.
