Gaara vs Lee? Neji? Haku? Maybe Hinata. Can't really tell.

My prediction is that Round 4 will have Sasuke vs Gaara and Neji vs Hinata. The finals... I dunno. Anybody's game.

Omg there is going to be a Lee vs Neji fight isn't there and ifLee wins and Haku wins all of his there will be a Haku vs Lee fight which would be cool like a match of speed. I also can't wait for the Gaara vs Shikako fight I'm going to be honest I'm hopping she'll win so it will be her vs Sasuke but that most likely won't happen. I also hope she destroys Muku! Seeing how she can fight even when shes in a genjutsu. The next few chapters sound like they will be epic.
Oh and question what happens if competitors tie?

I forgot about her shadow sight to yeah Muku stands no chance if he is a genjutsu specialist.

I'm going to bet the final will be Lee vs Gaara. Plot wise, he should be kazekage soon. Winning the tournament would proven himself to many people.
Sasuke vs Gaara is a given, even Shikako herself expected that. Also Sasuke vs Kiba since Kiba is kinda like Naruto. Haku vs Hinata, I think Haku will win. Plus, I hope there's Lee vs Neji

THIS. This, is so, so cool. I end up coming here after reading your latest chapter, just to see how the fights would progress later on. Man, all 9 from Konoha got to the second round. I bet the judges wishes that they had never promised not to have inter-village fights in the first round. Well, its quality that matter the most, and not quantity

This is pretty cool. How did you determine the initial bouts--other than a village wouldn't fight itself in the first round?

There were a couple of matches I wanted to have in the later rounds, and I mostly just worked backwards from there.

Okay this is going to be epic. With the way this is set up the way here is how I think the matches will go.
Shikako vs. Garra, then Sasuke vs. the winner. On the other side, we have Neji vs. Lee and Haku vs. Hinata at some point, with what I'm hoping is a reprise of Neji vs. Hinata in the semis. Though it could be Haku vs Neji/Lee instead. Though Sasuke vs. Haku for the finals would be an awesome use of dejavu as well. I do think Shikako looses to Garra, though I suppose she could surprise me. I do think she gives him a good fight.
Rain guy wins vs Grass, because 'Kako needs to fight one of them... Karui vs Garra in round two. Kiba vs. Cho probably, and Sasuke vs. no one cares. Temari vs. Neji, Ino vs Lee (poor Ino...). Kankuro vs. Hinata... could go either way in terms of actual skill, Narrative Causality makes me think Hinata and no one cares about the next round there, maybe Hinata vs. the Cloud to tap that bit of friction. Tenten vs. Haku, which should be fun...
Yeah this entire thing is going to rock socks.

Hmmm, I'm predicting a Shikako vs. Garra fight that would be epic, then Sasuke vs. whoever wins that. As for the other side, I'm thinking it's Hinata vs. Haku and Lee vs. Neji. Then honestly I would /love/ a reprise of Hinata vs. Neji, but Haku vs. Sasuke in the end would an awesome use of repetition too.
Or for that matter Haku vs. Shikako, though I have to admit I can't see her beating Garra. I see her giving an epic and impressive-enough-for-promotion fight, but not actually winning. And we all know the Rain guy has to win his one fight, because the universe like to laugh at 'Kako-chan.
There are some other ways this could go obviously, and I'm sure the fights themselves won't be a clear cut but from the concept of Narrative Causality this is my best guess.
Of course, I haven't actually read the chapter yet so I don't know how much of this gets addressed in chapter. Still. Should be a fun time.
