Pfft, I think I like this team name the best! Also Team Trouble Magnet. I wonder if Tsunade keeps a special sake bottle for the times she has to deal with them. I actually really really like to read everyone's reactions at their ridiculous mission curse.
Also, I will thank you a million times on how you dealt with the Sasuke issue. I was always angry at his storyline because I could have liked him if he hadn't been an idiot and slipped off the slippery slope. Though it was also Itachi's fault, the blind idiot. He doesn't even know how much he owes Shikako! Anyway, point is, I'm so glad we needn't deal with the angst of his defection since I like their team so much. I also like how the rookies are all seemingly a bit closer than in canon, too. Are they going to start meeting up like they did in canon? I hope so!
Still though, I will always bow at you for acknowleging how insane their missions are compared to other teams. At this rate they're going to grow up to be like the specialist team that is sent in whenever it looks like the mission is going to go to hell, since they've proven over and over that they can handle it. Like, the "emergency response team" or something.
I hope Shikako manages to arrange all the stuff she wants to learn soon, at the moment it kinda seems all over the place. Her clan jutsu, ninjutsu, seals, medical stuff, kenjutsu, natural chakra, Tsunade's strength technique... did I miss something? Personally I think seals, clan stuff and sage mode seem like the things to focus on, but eh. : D Although I guess she still doesn't have a teacher for the last thing.

Thanks for the comment! I rather liked the 'Lucky Sevens' myself, especially coming from Tsunade.
I rewatched the early episodes when I was writing, in order to remember what happened, and I was surprised by how much I liked Sasuke. He gets flanderised a lot because of his Shippuden actions, but early on he was pretty decent.
The funny thing would be, if they were sent on an already pear shaped mission it would probably go perfectly to plan. They'd be waiting for the catch all along.
Shikako is all over the place. It's pretty much what I'm like when I try and do things, and then get distracted by the next shiny thing. Any one who's spent a few hours on wikipaedia or TVTropes knows exactly what I'm talking about here.

I really hope we get even a second hand tale of her reaction when she gets the message that their supposed "low-risk C-rank" escalated into getting mixed up in an invasion to the land of wind. Bless their C-rank curse. I think one of these days they'll be high-strung on ALL missions until they get out of hand. After all, it's easier to deal with difficulties if you get dropped in the middle but waiting for them can be really stressful.
She'll eventually get her stuff together though, won't she? She is still the only one who knows exactly what is coming, after all. She can't afford to be poorly prepared.

Hahaha. I always laugh when I read this chapter. Sigh. Not normal missions! Is tsunade going to train her? I don't think jyria will want to drag her along and teach her. Will he leave her a book on sealing by him? Or will she visit the temples to learn to use natural Chackra. She will need it to deal with Akatsuki.

I truly like your story and your pictures.
When I first saw this one, I thought it was nice to see them together, but that something was strange. I finally found out what this "strange" was : Naruto doesn't have any Kyubi-whisker ! As for Sasuke's "creepy" expression, I think it is purely Sasuke-esque.
